it's rotten for kids. no roots. we moved 1984,1987,1989,1989 again, 1990,1991,1992,1993,1998-we've been in this house four yrs. at least since 1991 we've been in the same town, and it's the same town as 1987-1989. but we won't move again for a long time.
before 1984- i moved 1976-4 times, 1977-3 times, 1978-5 times, 1979-3 times, 1981-3 times, 1982-1 time, 1983-4 times,1984-3 times.
i've had more changes than a baby with diarrhea!

Dbaby....over the years I have moved around quite a bit.....Wash.DC to Twin Falls, Idaho(Sun Valley was only 50 miles away)to Athens, Ga. to San Diego,to Wantaugh, Long Island, New York to Wyckoff, New Jersey to San Antonio to Varese, Italy to Wyckoff and now back to San Antonio!

i forgot to mention -we moved in 1958,1959,1961,1962,1963,1972. that was when i was a kid. add that to the mix and i've been very moved by this thread!

The first move we had was when I was very young, we only stayed in the new place for two years, then we moved again and stayed there for three years. Our next house, we stayed for a very long time, almost ten years, then my favorite house, we lived there for 1 1/2 years. Then we moved to Greece, lived there for two years, now we just moved back a couple of months ago.
Our next move will probably be permanent. I don't like moving, cuz things get lost and when you first move in your new place, you can't find what you want.
