I thought I'd ressurect this instead of hijacking the "I Want a Love I Can See" thread.
The only song I question is "Isn't She Pretty." I've decided all other songs credited to Eddie were Eddie. By creating a disc in chronological order where "Isn't She Pretty" is the 3rd song recorded, I can hear the progress of their voices. The falsetto in that song just doesn't match Eddie's previously on "Oh Mother of Mine" and "Romance without Finance" or after like in the background of "Your Wonderful Love" or the extended "Dream Come True" near the end. Motown in those days recorded live with the band and wouldn't have had pre-recorded vocals to place Eddie in both lead and background on "Isn't She Pretty." It's Eddie's normal falsetto in the background on that song.
Al's falsetto can be heard along with Otis and Paul in the background of "Paradise." As Jane pointed out, Al can also be singled out in the intro to "Farewell My Love," but to me he's also heard throughout the song leaving the harmony and coming back to it, kind of like in "Baby, Baby I Need You" (is that Otis humming in this song instead of singing?) At the end of "Not Now I'll Tell You Later" he can be heard singing a melody similar to the song's intro. And of course, he's the third "pillow" in "My Pillow."
