AKA, Bobby did sing that song and quite well I might add. Dennis has put on quite a bit of weight and that belly was waaaaay out there ( It looked as if the buttons were gonna pop right off that white suit) but nevertheless he was still great. Of the two times that I saw him, I would say he had and still has the finesse (sp?) that the others possessed. Nobody was classier than Eddie though. Eddie was a smooth operator. Ruffin was quite the bad boy type and I loved the way he would look up into the heavly skies while singing. Could he have possiby been singing to the angels? Hmmmmmm.......

Maybe y'all have a point, maybe Dennis can be for those who are strictly old school and the Tempts can be for those who like a little hip-hop in their tea. Ah, why choose? I'll take as many Tempts as I can get my hands, I mean EYES on. LOL! I DO know what you mean though Jane when it comes to Brother Dennis' lips, we certainly can't say he's not passionate about his music! But if he's a little too much for you, just do what the rest of us do, look at David Sea. As for the weight issue, whether it's Dennis or O or whomever, there's just more to love.

at least o has shed a few pounds lately but still these guys play so many indian casinos and vegas and reno and atlantic city that they probably can't resist the buffet line!LOL! plus they have slower metabolisms as they are 60 ish! like our beloved leader says, i would gladly even take ali woodson or damon harris so we could hear the greats singing the greatest hits.

Sounds good to me. I drove past Mississippi, from New Orleans to Alabama. For that sauce, I should have stopped. I heard Texas has a mean BBQ sauce. I use to use Bullseye. But the taste has changed. Might have to make my own. Well it is 80 plus where I'm at, perfect for grilling.

You know, I think she's right. I think I saw that highlighted on a "great food across America" special or something. Is that from an old, famous, BBQ restaurant that people travel from miles around to eat at?

msshowme, we have a famous restaurant in downtown san diego by the gaslamp quarter called kansas city steakhouse. it is where ''top gun'' with tom cruise was filmed in 1986. it is just like that kc flavor y'all be yappin' about. we have a place started in 1941 that has several locations called the barbecue pit. the folks came from texas and slow roast their meat over a pit and then give you the barbecue sauce in a bowl next to your plate. i personally prefer to have the sauce brushed on lightly towards the end to complement the smokey flavor(never use a gas grill-ugh!) . i don't like dippin the ribs in a bowl of sauce. that 's like dipping your cake into a bowl of frosting before you eat it!

I wish that there was a way to email food, I'm getting hungry, all this BBQ talk. Finger licking stuff, too good. Well gang Four Days to go till this Friday for me. The countdown began once I purchased the tickets. I'm bringing O's book just in case he can sign it. I know, wishful thinking but who knows. Picture time as well. I'm still hungry but right now, I'm excited thinking about the concert.
