But Mr. Clay did not make Nike commercials with Spike Lee, be best friends with Ahmad Rashad, or be the pitchman for so many products.
Plus Mr. Clay never revolutionized the game, like palming and carrying the ball every time he went to the hoop, such as people do every day in the NBA!

Truth Man, where are you? Ok, I'll begin in his absense. Being in a commercial doesn't make you a good athlete. Your skill and determination in the game is what makes you the athlete that you are, not how companies pay you to advertise their products

MUHAMMAD ALI,didn't stick kids up for 200 dollar sneakers,either ! He just changed the face of boxing !When ALI fought,the world STOPPED ! And this is before cable ! I think you need more help than Ivory ! She may not have heard or Black Ivory,The Five Stairsteps,or The Dells, but she knows about Muhammad Ali ! Shame you don't ! Did Mr. Clay ever play while being very ill, almost to the point that he risked his life every second on the court? Did Mr. Clay ever succeed at another sport, like, say baseball, where you can almost get a call-up because you get a hit less than two out of every ten times at bat? SoulStirrer, just what national publication are you gonna be on?  . I think we appreciate MJ, (well, I can only speak for myself) and he is one of the greatest basketball players of all time, but for me saying he is better than Muhammad Ali is going out on a limb. I mean, there are people in basketball that I would maybe set equal to MJ. Like Wilt, Dr.J, etc. I dont think there is anyone in boxing I can set equal to Ali. it would be easier if we were asking whos the best athlete in a certain sport, but this a different because we're comparing a basketball player to a boxer  |

Ok, what I'm saying Soul is that Muhammid Ali can't push his defender, make the final shot, and win the game. This is boxing!!! And there are many great things that Ali did in boxing.  |
