Hey (((Cheech)))! I hear ya!! That's one of the things I Loved about the line up with (((Barrington))) and (((Harry))) is that there were three lead singers. Now it's two, and (((Terry)))) is given "Since I Lost My Baby". I miss Terry on "Confusion" and "Papa". When "Papa" would start Terry would go to the audience's right side of the stage, and then it was on, it was on!! I couldn't help, but say "Go Terry". ((Jakki))) and I at my "LYM" AC concert in March 2001 said that Terry sizzles. We would put our pointer fingers together and make this sizzling sound!! LOL!! Terry sounded so Great during "Since I Lost My Baby" at my Star Plaza concert on the 12th that I said "Go Terry!" LOL!! Well, I hope he gets those songs back, and then to make the blow easier to bear, I've told myself may be this is a different direction the Tempts are going with the concerts and try to deal with it. I know when I go to a concert, I'm going to wish I could hear Terry on those songs!!
HAVE A MERRY CHRISTMASY WEEK EVERYBODY!! TTYAL!

He can't sing with a live band? What was the reason for Otis to take the songs away from Terry? Not that I'm saying he was wrong maybe Otis and I agree on this. :shocked

Well we all know Terry's voice was straining perhaps G.C coming has helped him and the less leads he is now doing has rested his voice so much so that he can cope with exhaustive schedule of touring etc. Who knows

Plus GC is a much better singer. I wouldn't put it so bluntly Mike. G.C is an awsome vocalist yet Terry is and then again they are both different styles. I would put G.C as the better singer simply because he has a more distinct voice and that he has that more classic sound (not to say that that is better) Terry is right up there i.m.o....

Terry didn't lead? That sucks. I will find it really hard to see them if Terry isn't taking some snaps. You'll hear a better singer in GC.

I know what you mean, but I'd rather Terry be up there singing fewer leads than not be up there at all. If he wasn't able to rest his voice, that may have been the only other choice. .......... In other words, what livesey said. ;D

Dammit, I don't know. I don't know what is going on. If The brother has nodes, then why have him. But if not, I want him up there there singing lead. They guy is great. Nobody on that stage can do what he does vocally.

sniff, sniff. I smell a hater. but of course there will be some denial or a slick attempt to turn it around. Then change cologne...no hater here.Nothing slick,no need to deny something that doesn't exist. Why does it always have to be HATE ? I ain't got time for that....never did.

IMO...GC was brought on to do the leads so that they could maintain the traditional sound on the older songs. Also, maintain the groove for the future in the similar tradition. I think Terry was leading a lot to suffice for what a recent lead singer didn't carry. Plus, he lead a lot when they did songs from their CD where Terry was the lead vocalist. I think the tour for the past year was to promote the My Girl CD, and of course, GC was needed to bring those renditions back.

Plus GC is a much better singer.[/quote] I agree...because he has the seasoning, a different vocal range...and the showmanship.
