Yep, Cheech would be the first one who knows -- because I suspect he's the one in charge of the listening devices (aka bugs) hidden on this board ... I am not taking sides ... so, please don't lock this thread

dave was good, he just didn't impress me with it. i've seen other's do thing like that before. did he show his skills? yes. now, as tenor's go he's good. great. but there are alot of great ones. he just doesn't stabd out to me. It's something I have seen others do.I looked at his style of singing and that didn't blow me out. It was good. I think it's what we are looking for. he does nice stuff that other people also do. Everyone's entitled to their opinion, but I must say this is the first time I've heard someone actually say they weren't impressed with David Sea. I love David's voice and its not just because I'm a woman, I just think that his voice is simply amazing and that's been the generally consensus of most. David is unique in his own right, just like Ali does that special scream and Theo Peoples makes some distinctive sound with his voice. Anyway, I attended the 2nd show and it was awesome, just ask the young lady(ies) next to me, I mean teenagers who recited all the words and scream louder than me, now that impressed me cause teenagers can be so fickled when it comes to good music and just observing their response in itself confirmed to me just how incredible the Review really is. Now, the suits I wasn't too impressed with, however, the yellow looked a lot better than the pink, sorry B, D & D you know I luv ya ) - anyway their performance made up for the outfits ).

funny, how i actually liked the pink better than the yellow. I thought the yellow looket strange under the lights. The pink and the red went great together, too. The yellow just kinda seemed out of place.

Yeah,y'all were singing your hearts out! Doing the steps too. You did your thing! I saw you, don't think I didn't. Well you know I saw you...you gave me a great big hug! We both wish that the Review would choose another song to replace STAY! I don't like when they sing that song.

well, cheech...you seem to be pretty alone in your thoughts. Someone else on another board saw the Review show you went to, and had this to say about it (and no, from what I can tell, it was NOT a woman! ): Anyway, The review came on a captivated the audience. We were all singing along and dancing in our seats. Each songs was a hit. Dennis didn't do much lead, but David Sea was amazing. His voice is such a talent. Mike Patillo was also great. He did a wonderful version of Rainy Night in GA.
The Songs they did were:
Standing On the Top, Get Ready, Beauty's Only Skin Deep, Ain't Too Proud To Beg, My Baby, Rainy Night In Georgia, Papa Was A Rolling Stone, Don't Look Back, You're My Everything, Lady Soul, I Wish It Would Rain, Girl,Why You Wanna Make Me Blue, The Way You Do The Things You Do, God Bless America, My Girl, Stay, and Just My Imagination.
David Sea sounded so much like Ali Woodson and David Ruffin I thought he was gonna do splits. Dennis is true performer. He was up there dancing like a teenager. He was moving like a pro. I didn't think anyone could keep up with him. I just wish he did more of his songs.
The most touching part of the show was Dennis talking about losing the other members of the group. That was when the sorrow fell on us all. The concert was a true emotional experience. He made it feel like home. It was so personal.

Meme .......... how did the colors look TOGETHER? I'm having a hard time envisioning them. Did you get any photos? Hype was too busy planting bugs to take a camera. ;D
Mikey, you and I need to start a protest movement or something.

Yep, that was me, I got a little carried away, almost forgot I was on stage (behind the curtains) - just having a good ole time. Ditto, I hate when they sing that song, didn't quite like it when Barrington sung it, only THEO!!!!!!!!! If you're listening Review "Ace that song", most people attending the show don't know it anyway!!!!!!!!!

Hype was too busy planting bugs to take a camera. ;D Mikey, you and I need to start a protest movement or something. I didn't like the color combination, like I said before the yellow, which was a mustard yellow was ok, the shoes being the same color, however, the pink didn't do it for me at all, not only that I believe the shoes were red instead of pink, or maybe I'm color blind. Sorry I didn't take pictures, that would've captured it for you - next time, hopefully I'll remember to bring the camera.

Man,I asked you if you were going,I didn't get a reply,we could have hung out. I met up with Curet30,it was like we knew each other since birth. He showed me that he was not just an average JOE ! ;D We went backstage with Dennis,David Sea, Curet& myself had a good time. Curet told Dennis that he admired him for paying tribute to the Tempts who have passed on. Dennis gave them their props, saying that they helped him be what he is. We told him that he helped them, too. But he was having none of that. Cheech,Dennis and Chris did Rudolph ,The Red Nosed Raindeer in the dressing room acapella....and another Christmas song that escapes me now. But Man....I wish you would have answered me,you would have been right there with Curet30 & Myself. This show was a benefit for the High School and the students that were there, were greatfull that the TEMPTATIONS,as they called them...did the show for them. I was surprised that the kids knew the lyrics, meaning Dennis has a new generation of fans. Songs 1) Standing On The Top 2)Beauty's Only Skin Deep 3)Get Ready 4)Ain't Too Proud To Beg 5) My Baby 6) Rainy Night In Georgia 7)Papa Was A Rolling Stone 8) Don't Look Back 9) You're My Everything 10)Lady Soul 11)I Wish It Would Rain 12)Girl,Why You Wanna Make Me Blue 13) The Way You Do The Things You Do 14)God Bless America 15)My Girl 16) Stay 17) Just My Imagination I thought I was at the Apollo back in the seventies, hearing actual SCREAMS from the audience. I was in the wings...(No, I was not singing for anybody) and my lady saw them in a way she has never seen them before. We could see the women rushing Mr Sea while he was "Raining" on them,he had them going...looking like a scene from the movie when they performed in a school. Mike had a couple of ladies on him when HE was Raining on them. I wish that you would have let me know that you were going,I would have brought you with Curet, and myself. I missed out on a chance to meet you, face to face. When I got to the show, and got to the dressing room,a gentleman looked at me and said..."Mike?"...I said,"Curet?" This is what makes this board so special to me,when you meet somebody from this board,it's like you knew them forever. Weather you agree on things about the group or not,it made the show just THAT MUCH BETTER for me. Like BB Kings last year,it's a fantastic feeling for me. I'm looking to the next time board members can go to a show together. After doing it once, you'll never want to do it without a fellow board member. Curet got a chance to see why the review work so well together,,,they really like each other,no in-fighting,no drama. Cheech, remember I was teasing you about Tuckahoe Road? Well, that's where the group stayed. Great Time,Great Show,no Kool & The Gang coats! MIKENYC... Seems like we have known each other for years. The other night I realized you favor my cousin Ralph Curet to the tee; looks and mannerism - the whole NINE. That other Christmas song was "Someday At Christmas". Chris was singing that one. I'll see if I can meet up in February. The early show is best for me. I know from experience, when the Channels do TWO shows, we have to stick around for the second show and that gives us time to meet up with fans. But I'll tell you the truth, when that second show is over, I'm in my car headed straight home before the other Channels changes out of their uniforms.

I don't know about everyone else, but even though I already have tickets for the Baltimore show, since it's apparently going to be a no-go, I'd almost rather go to the New York shows instead (I'm not crazy at all about the Baltimore venue.)
Anyone else wanna make a thing of it? Mikey? Aba? Nova? Meme? Hype? Kalisa (hey, I know you can't go but I thought I'd ask anyway, don't want you to feel left out!)
