Good morning Ivory My opinion hasn't change the album basically is "terrible" . I am reading the Liner notes and This was their 50th album dedicated to the memories of david Ruffin and Paul Williams. Well that's a darn shame, that what most seem to consider a not very good album is dedicated to David and Paul . But the thought was there... I'm presuming it came out before Eddie passed...

It was during this period that they were dedicating their shows to David and Paul and Eddie I believe.....don't have the date of the lp.but Edie would have been included after he passed away........I saw enough of the shows then to know they did it though...and at that tpoint ALi began singing My Girl.taking over form Richard who was not long for the group then...............!!!

I am too. ;D But Celebrate and Hoops of Fire deserve some mention. I don't know what folks are looking for. I think ALi was great for the Temps...I bet they wish they had him now..no disrespect to GC in any way. I like Milestone except for Ennie Meenie Minee Mo or what ever the hell iit was called......... ;D ;D ;D Also I am using We Should Be Making Love and Wait A Minute on some of my Smooth R&B cds right now..So I give it a good vote as far as i'm concerned............ Hey Aba, I rated Hoops of Fire and "8" I thought it was the best cut on the album. I did not like Celebrate, I rated it "4". I agree with you about Ali I like his leads over GC. I guess its just personal preference. Both of them can sing

I know it is weaky, but somehow I missed the meaning of "Glenda until..... " and then sometimes just plain "Glenda." It's the sort of situation where you come in and hear the last words and have no idea what they mean because you missed the rest of the conversation. All I can think of is the Good Witch in Wizard of Oz. Or some Glendas I knew.

I bought "Milestone" when I was 12 years old and it was the first Tempts cd I ever had! I loved it, every single song except "The Jones". I like the remix of "The Jones" that was playing at all the clubs and on the radio. That song was one of the most popular songs in 1991/1992! People still run to the dance floor today when they play it! "Milestone" really shows how dynamic Ali Woodson is, he killed on the songs "Whenever You're Ready" and "Wait A Minute". "Corner of My Heart" was done flawlessly by Ron. "Take It Easy" was a great song, I loved hearing Melvin do a lead! I loved "Milestone" and I still listen to it to this day! This is the cd that hooked me as a Tempts fan for life!

This is the cd that hooked me as a Tempts fan for life! Milestone is sort of middle of the road for me. Not the greatest, but not bad. However, I say if it created just fan for life, then it must be a great CD.
