So, what do you guys think of it? I got it off e-bay. When I got it, there was a promo sticker on it. The description never mentioned it, so it was a nice bonus. There are a few decent songs on it, but not that many. It starts off with "Eenie Meenie Miny Moe", which is probably the worst song by the tempts that I've ever heard. I'll give it a half credit, because it was the last tempts song that Richard ever did. The "Get Ready" re-make is a disgrace...that's all I have to say about it. Actually, I'm being a little to polite about it! ;D "We Should Be Makin' Love" is a pretty good song. I have one complaint though. Considering Mowtown's "quality control", did they HAVE to use that exact vocal take? Ali's voice has always been hoarse, but that take was a little to rough in my opinion. All in all, I'd give this disc two and a half out of four stars.

Hated It...... Care to elaborate? I'm curios to hear(well, "see", but you know what I mean!) what other people thought about it, in a kind of song by song analysis(spelling?). I'm hoping that Aba21 stops by, so I can get the pro's two cents. ;D

I haven't heard too much from this CD. At the time I was pissed that "Milestone" was the first Temptations effort not issued on vinyl so I didn't buy it and haven't got it now. From my perspective the group sounded a little tired. I did like the "Get Ready (1990) single which has different versions of the song. I like the version with the rap the best If I'm not mistaken, it was included on that Murphy Brown CD...

HEY!! Eenie Meanie is a GOOD song! I like the album better than most from that period. I agree with you about "Get Ready" but "(Who Wants to Be LIke) The Jonses" is one of the all-time greatest hits that never was! ......... gonna listen to it right now as a matter of fact ...... I'm gonna do it ........... I'm gonna do it.......

Good morning Ivory I think your just a pushover for anything Tempts ( I mean that in a good way) I am listening to this Milestone album as I type this. My opinion hasn't change the album basically is "terrible" and your cut "eeni meeni minee moe" is well....just not good. It seem so elementary for the "Tempts" . I am reading the Liner notes and This was their 50th album dedicated to the memories of david Ruffin and Paul Williams.

Get Ready === I actually like this version, not like the original but a good interpretation “8” 7. Corner Of My Heart ====”5” barely listenable 8. Whenever You're Ready ======== ok “6” 9. Do It Easy===== ok “6” 10. Wait A Minute===== Melvin sings lead, decent song “6” 11. I'm glad I listened to it again because I now have some new "Tempts" songs to add to my MP3 collection.

My opinion of it is.....well, let's just say that I never listened to the whole song.
