He didn't try to prevent Dennis from calling his group the Temptations Review featuring Dennis Edwards, that's what they agreed to in court. Anyway, as much as you seem to think he's disparaging Dennis, he clearly puts the blame on the confusion over the name on the promoters. So you can believe who you want ........... your friend  ............ or some newpaper reporter whom you've never met.  |

Now one thing to think about ................... this was a newspaper article by a reporter who clearly has a slant against Dennis. It isn't outside the realm of human possibility that he could have made up, or exxagerated the White House Story and Otis in fact said nothing of the kind.
Something to think about, especially since it's so out of character for him to say something like that.

THAT is also within the realm of human possibility. |

I think the review should just QUIT!! and let the REAL Temptations do their thing so there wont be these arguments and angry people barking at eachother.....I love Dennis and i think he is a great artist, but he has to go and do his own thing as a soloact and stop obsessing with trying to build up a fake Temptations group. It pisses me off that some people actually writes in articles and in newspapers that Dennis group is the temptations...or when the tempts have a concert somewhere and they're promoting it with a tempts review poster. I applaud Otis for keeping The Temptations alive for 43 years and more and more and more..... no disrespect to the review or its members(especially dennis) but there can only be ONE Temptations group, Otis is one of the originals ... none of the reviews are....4 of them haven't even been in the group. I also think it's unfair that some of the Temptations fans are told that they will see the Temptations at some concert but instead end up with a coverband. p.s. I'm totally excited 'bout the new album 'Impeccable' that will be out this year!!! i'm guessing it will sell at least 3 million copies and win 5 Grammys. much love to Otis,Ron,Terry,G.C. and Joe. and of course to Paul,David,Melvin,Eddie and Al.......I LOVE YOU FOREVER. Tempts 4-ever./peace Better to be pissed off than pissed on. The Review is going strong...and they have something that Otis'gang will never have ...togetherness.Not to mention a multiple grammy award winning-hall of fame lead singer...named Dennis Edwards. No need to quit. Especially when the Review is the better group....It's Growing!  P.S. The Tempts didn't start getting grammys until Dennis came to the group. |

AMEN!!!!! I would never go see the review or any other Temptations wannabe group, buy I will go see the Tempts when they come to my town! I would also go see Dennis Edwards by himself anytime, maybe even over the Tempts, by with the review? No cause I know Dennis is more talented than that. You don't know what you're missing. That's a good thing...more elbow room for me. After you go see Otis the only wannabe will be you....Because you'll wanna be at the Review show. ;D |

That's gossip,second hand information and just plain ...DENIAL ! You know good and damn well that Dennis & The Review is Otis' worst nightmare.He'll do anything to stop Dennis from making a living. You're gonna fault the Tempts for what a REPORTER says about the Review? That doesn't even make any sense. Same as faulting Dennis when the promoter calls Dennis'group..THE TEMPTATIONS. The promoter can't help if he hears the Original Lead Voice of the Temptations. |

I feel like the reporter had his booster cables out, trying to start S# t!! Pretty much the way Donnie Simpson did Eddie James and Dennis. Also, if the White House requested either the Temptations or the Review, I'm quite sure they know who both Otis and Dennis are. That's what the Secret Service and FBI are for. |

ok mike, maybe the tempts didn't start winning grammy awards until Dennis came in to the group but what about in 2001 when they won one for 'Ear-resistable'? was Dennis in the group then? no he wasn't and The Temptations still got one! ....and i'm pretty sure they will win a whole lot more grammys |

. Who knows how many K $$$ Otis spent trying to stop Dennis from using ANY form of the name Temptations. It was a Judge who allowed the current usage, certainly not Otis.
