True,I also don't want him to be embarrased by trying to do something that is beyond his ability. I don't want Alfalfa to sing Don't Send Me Away...even if he sounds better than the original. I didn't say Bo didn't have pipes. It's obvious he did. I also don't think he embarassed himself doing the classics. At least not much by trying something that was beyond his vocal ability. Bo, though a phenominal vocalist, could sing Ali, Richard, and Theo better than he could do any David leads. Ali, did David better than anyone I've heard. He also did Dennis better than anyone. When they stepped on stage, you could tell who the David, Dennis, Ali was of the group from the past 5 years. Could'nya, Could'nya!. Ya know Omm tellinna troof. |

I said it. It's obvious to me that he didn't! I'd like to know how is it that he didn't have the pipes. He might have been more of a vocal acrobat than we'd like. But he was a great addition to what was already there. Although I love Richard Street and believe he was an under rated vocalist, I'd take Bo and Terry over him. Terry is probably the least Temptations sounding vocalist since Louis Price. But he's one helluvva singer. He kinda has that Freddie Jackson/Glen Jones flava to him. I actually think he'd make a better solo artist than Bo (when it comes to on-air acceptance). To young folks, Bo would sound like an old dude trying to sound young. But Terry would just fit right in there with the Freddie, McKnight, Gill, Levert. |

 It's sad. I guess I would have done the same thing, but to complain about it now? It doesn't make much sense... I hope they reslove this issue quietly.
