I also liked some of the riffing/running done by Bo. But more when he did the newer songs. I loved 'How Could He Hurt You'. He came into his own on that one. But I think 'Forget About It' from Awsome was lost in the shuffle. From the second verse of that song, he tore it up (in a good way). That is in fact my favorite song led by Bo. If that song were released on his solo album, it would've been his first single and also a hit. It probably shoud've been the first single on 'Awsome'.

A5V, you hit the nail on the head. I couldn't nail it any better. Bo was awesome on those songs. He also added some Hard Soul and R & B to his shows. That kind of stuff get's lost in the woodwork, with people.

On his songs...yes ,he all that, just can't sing the classics. Bo don't have the pipes for that.

Bo, does have the pipes. He just didn't have the right pipes for most of the classics. Although he's not very young in age, he sang a lot like the young folks. At his age, it would seem like he'd sing a bit more old school. He's got Terry by about 10 years and Terry gives me more of an old school feel to his voice than Bo. That's no real bad criticism of Bo. I just think he was the most electrifying of the members and that's what's required when singing 'Ain't Too Proud To Beg', 'Treat Her Like A Ladaaaaay'. He had it by default.

He oes them justice. He's just doing them differently. Mike, you wouldn't want him to be a copycat singer who doesn't bring his own style.

True,I also don't want him to be embarrased by trying to do something that is beyond his ability. I don't want Alfalfa to sing Don't Send Me Away...even if he sounds better than the original.
