Tupac may be a little too militant for your tastes suk, but I like him a lot. His work with Digital Underground was good also. Humpty Hump is may man! Who Got The Gravy?!!!!! We got the gravy going on baby baby!!!!! Going on!!!! ;D

Mike, Your father was into bop? Playing the trumpet behind Hamp? I gotta break out some Lionel!!! That's great information!! The only Duke I have is with Mingus and Roach in Money Jungle and with Coltrane. What years did your father play with the Duke?

humpty is ''sick with this''... ;D
public enemy had chuck d as a good rapper and flav-a flav as a buffoon. no skillz.
tupac does little for me. so many better rappers. like biggee smallz and puffy combs and tribe called quest and james todd smith(llcoolj).
snoop was ok, but i like warren g and nate dogg better. ez-e was cool but he's bye bye. i liked west coast rappers, but i liked east coast a little more.

Pops worked with Cholly Atkins.Considering that Cholly's nickname is "Pops," it took me about five minutes and 10 readings of that sentence to GET what you meant. I'm SO dense!

“Oh no, one of the worst things an artist can do is to try and change a song that the world has come to identify and love in its original form. So we don’t mess around with it and try to be slick and stay up-to-date,” he said. And "A Love I Can See" was what?!

I was suprised Aba liked Tupac. After all the posts dealing with people today, not knowing what real music is, no originality, all these wrong messages being sent out....

I remember that one sukka, I still wonder why. Was the group that high that they had to make up something like that? Aba, the Humpty Hump? Go 'head with yourself. I remember that one as well. I was in the Bahamas when they started to play that song. I had to show everyone how it was done, of course. Still stiff today from that. ;D
