I am talking about Dennis Edwards. Was he a saint too? My goodness gracious! Its time to be real aobut these people. We are grown-ups..........most of us are ;D..and his problems are well chronicled.............my point was to say that is was not a stroke that had Bobby Brown in the condition he was in for the documentary..........anyone who knows abuse when they see it can see he was abusing.........big time!!!! Bobby is a known alcoholic and not to mention a weed head among other things. I believe he did have a stroke and I also think that his substance abuse habit triggered it. I have a bad feeling that Bobby isn't going to make it past 50 years old.

While I hope that you're wrong, I tend to agree with you about just how long Bobby can go on this way. I just feel bad for the guy and I hope he reaches the light at the end of the rather long tunnel he's in. Ed

I'm not finding anything (which only means I'm not finding anything, I may be looking under the wrong rocks ) and I was thinking that since they don't mind reporting every other little thing about him, there would be some kind of news inkling... That said... I have to agree with you about his life-expentancy if he stays on the same path. What *I* saw on that VH1 show was just too reminiscent of Dennis back on some videos (think he was doing it on the "I Wonder Who She's Seeing Now" video, as well as on "Don't Look any Further", along with the Harrah's that Aba21 mentioned). sadly, too... I did notice in my searching that Whitney's name came up at a Dead Pool site (a macabre site that 'bets' on what celebrity will be next in the obituaries)

I saw the BTM on New Edition. And yes in agreement with everyone else I think Bobby clearly looked "high". I noticed no Ronnie. I also saw a BET blueprint in 02' of New Edition and Ron mentioned he was into Real Estate at that time. I saw them 4th of July in Chastain Park in Atlanta and they were incredible... no Bobby but I didn't miss him. I think the VH1 thing really only scratched the surface... I'm glad to see they finally got their props for being one of or the "original" boy band. I had wondered for years now why Milli Vanilli got a behind the Music and Boyz II Men but NOT a group as great as NE. There is/was so much Talent there. Johnny Gills vocals alone will make the earth move...(I checked him out at For Sisters Only ATL Aug '02) He is amazing. I feel that they have constantly gotten a bad deal. This album they have with Bad Boy was a good CD but again... no publicity... I don't get it...they barely talked at the end about Puffy wanting to market them to a young crowd.. for god sakes these guys can appeal to everyone... but alas I digress.. I will love them forever.. they were my first obsession before the Tall Talented Temptations. Shouts out to everyone... Im in New York City now...Aba ... Ivy ... K2... Cadeho...everyone else Hi!!!!!
