Interesting thing here, is that there are no 4 Seasons songs listed here, and they were proclaimed to be the greatest doowop groupp of all time. They did fantastic covers of Stay (which outsold the original), Book of Love, Gypsy Woman, Why Do Fools Fall in Love and many, many others.  1. I only have eyes for you- Flamingo's 2. That is a good point....However it could be that some people like myself don't consider them a "do-Wop" group. I loved their music but I wouldn't classify it as "do-Wop". That begs the question..."what would be considered a Do-Wop" song/group?? It good be delineated by sound, era(50's-60").... I don't know maybe thats another thread for discussion. |
