My friend Kelley (22yrs old) was involved in a car accident Monday afternoon. Today she remains in UT Hospital's Intensive Care Unit of the Trauma Center. She suffered head trauma, 3 broken ribs, a damaged spleen, and a crushed pelvis. As of today she has been doing much better. She is still in an induced coma, but she has had some positive voluntary movements. Please keep Zach & Kelley (who were married in September) as well as their families in your prayers. She will have a long road to recovery.

She will have a long road to recovery. I truly understand your deep heartfelt concern for your friend. A friend of mine was similarly injured. 3 weeks ago on Saturday December 4th. My friend and (spiritual) sister Claudia, observed an accident on a busy freeway in Howell New Jersey. She stopped her car and got out to help. As she tried to flag down a police car she was struck by a car. The impact propelled her back several feet in the air. She sustained a large gash on her head, her leg was broken and her back was also broken. She was rushed to the hospital and stabilized. The doctors gave a terrible prognosis for her. They said she may never walk again. However, Claudia is a strong woman of faith. Her trust and strength in God is holding her up. I know that the Lord had His hand upon her because for one: The bone in her leg came out of her leg on impact but miraculously snapped back in to place. One of her church members is friends with the top neurologist in the country. He came in and performed an 8 hour operation on her back two days after the accident. They thought her spinal cord was severed, but it was a broken bone in her back. She couldn't talk for days. Then one day i walked in and she was talking. She told me that she felt a twinge of feeling in her foot. plus she says she is enjoying her self in the Lord!!. Now that's faith at work!! Claudia has been a tower of strength to me in some of the darkest periods in my life in the last ten years. Always there. Always willing and ready to pray for anyone at anytime. To all the blood bought Christians where ever you are in the world who have received Christ, please join me as we pray for Kelley and Claudia. Heavenly Father, we come before Your holy throne with praise and honor. Thanking You that You have allowed us this priviledge through the shed blood, crucifixtion and resurrection of Your Son and our Savior, the Christ Jesus. For only through Him can we receive mercy and grace. Father, You said to come before You with boldness and confidence; and with thanksgiving make our requests known to You. Lord. You are all loving and all powerful. What happened to Kelley and Claudia did not take You by surprise nor did it catch You off guard, because You know all things and know the end from the beginning. You are the God that heals. You said to "call upon me in times of trouble;" That if we humble ourselves and pray and turn from our evil ways You will hear from heaven and bring healing; that You would lift up and restore. Father, all souls belong to You, and everything in the earth is Yours. Knowing this, we cry out to You because Your ears are open to those who love You. Lord, there is no word that leaves Your mouth and returns to You void, but will accomplish what You sent it to do. We ask that you have compassion on Kelley. That You heal the trauma to her head. Touch the damaged spleen, heal her broken ribs and rebuild a crushed pelvis. Father God, we also ask that You divinely heal, Claudia, restore the use of her legs. That You confound the diagnosis and prognosis of the doctors for You are the Great Physician. Lord, Your Word says that we are fearfully and wonderfully made. You said that, "they that wait upon the LORD shall renew [their] strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; [and] they shall walk, and not faint." Lord, with men things are impossible, but with You, all things are possible. Nothing is to difficult for You. Lord Jesus, You carried the weight of the world on Your shoulders, and gave up Your life for the world. We ask that You intercede on our behalf. That the Holy Spirit makes intercession for us. Show all those who do not believe that You exist everywhere at once and that You love us with an everlasting love and is the God of the miraculous. I ask that You show them in such a way, that they have no choice but to call these answered prayers nothing less than miracles. Father we pray for Zach and the rest of the family as well as Claudia's family, Billy, Kevin and Vincent and a host of other relatives. We ask that You give them peace because Your peace passes all understanding. We ask that You comfort them because You are the God of all comfort. We lay this prayer at the foot of the cross and cast our cares upon You. For You said, "do not worry about anything but pray about every thing." By the power of the Holy Spirit that dwells within us and in the Name of the One who sits at Your right hand, the Rose of Sharon , the Lion of Judah, the Alpha and the Omega, the King of Kings, Jesus Christ we say, Amen and Amen.
