K-Mart & Sears to merge!

This would have been huge news in the 60s, when those two stores were everything. Now I think it'll be too little, too late. Wal-Mart is way too big and has much better prices, too.

Anyway, an interesting piece of business news.

Didnt KMart file Bankruptcy? How the crap can they afford to buy out Sears? I'd rather go to Sears than KMart to be honest.

Yes they did. K-Mart has only made a come back the past couple of years by selling off store locations. The two companies are trying to stay alive by sharing assets and, hopefully, making more sales. It remains to be seen if either will survive!
