Well Im from Iowa and I was suring anthe net looking for infro about the Tempts and I found this. I grew up listing to the Tempts. Im only 22 but I love old school music.  |

Hello temptragous.
I'm from a lil known city North Augusta, SC
I like the Temptations because their vocals harmonize with each other to blend into one voice. Not to mention their choreography complements not only each other, but matches the song too, no matter what song or part of the song.
I got into the Temptations because a friend wanted me to make him an old school cd, so I did, and just started listening to the music, though I already had listend to and loved old school, But around this time I'd been into the rap/hip-hop stuff, my fave being Nelly then 50 Cent. Don't know why, but I just started getting more songs of the Tempts, and was just so intrigued that I wanted to learn more about them, so started researching and found this website, and here I am, and i found other websites too. I even made a temptations broom for work, Subway, which Tempts is what I'm known for with all my co-workers. I even got my best friend, who works there too, into the tempts, and we sing everytime we work together, and i try to teach him some tempts moves to.

I have a VHS tape I got at e-bay. It is the Temptations David, Eddie, Paul, Blue and Otis it is a wonderful tape of them singing when they were young. At the end of the tape it has David and Eddie singing together when they were older. If you ever get a chance to buy this tape get it. It is called Classic Temptations.

Hey there -my name's Rob West (born 8/10/82) and I currently reside in Forty fort, PA -I had stumbled across this site looking for info on the Temps basically -I like the Temps because their music sounds wonderful and inspirational. The vocal harmonies are superb, definitely. I think their music holds something greater than that of the Beatles and the Stones in my mind and it's a great springboard for musicians looking to approach rock and roll in a different, more soulful direction. -I initially got into the Temps thanks to Hall & Oates when i was about 4 or 5! B/c as most know, H&O invited Dave and Eddie to sing their songs at the Apollo with them in 1985! If you listen to their music you can tell there's a Temps influence there and i hear it all the time when I listen to Temps classics as well! -Besides being a fan, I am also an upstart as a guitarist. Inspired by G.E. Smith, (the lead guitarist with Hall & Oates), I've been practicing steadily since I was 16 and I play blues guitar but incorporate that into anything I listen to basically. my favorite thing besides playing H&O tunes is playing blues to Temps songs! My fav songs for that are "Just My imagination" and "Beauty is only Skin Deep." I'm currently actually trying to put a group together who wants to take rock music in that soulful direction, as Hall & Oats did. I'm actually in a group now who plays original stuff, reminiscent of Booker T. and the M.G. s, actually! this is all a really long story made short, LOL but if y'all got any quetions or feel like chatting e-mail me anytime  Cheers! Hello All Im from New Haven CT I found this site while surfing Im into the Temps because thet have sung songs to match every mood or situation I may encounter Ive collected ALL of thier music,and I have been to many concerts, the Temps even let me sing My girl to my wife on our 10th wedding aniversary |

Hello Board!
My name is Varnetta and I am obviously a fan.
Aba21 (my high school sweetheart) cued me to your message board. I've been browsing a bit and I am quite impressed.
I am a 52 year old female from Washington, DC so you know that I grew up with the Temptations. They "lived"at the historic Howard Theater in Washington and I made every performance!!
