...the front office needs to find good pitching...now...Gordon is a good closer...he did a good...but was not effective enough in the end... Go National League Winner!  Now you're talking! I'd like to see the Astros win--they have never been in the Series before. I'd also would not mind the Cardinals winning as I think they have a really dominant team this year. I think having Boston win would ruin the drama in a way.... It is nice to have another baseball fan onboard, and a true novelty to have a baseball fan from out of the US. :wtg |

The Yankees haven't won in a few years now. You can't always buy a championship. But I just can't believe they went into this season believeing they could win with the pitching they took into the year. I mean El Duque save them late in the year.

Baseball is huge in Venezuela...you might be familiar with this names: Andres Galarraga, Omar Vizquel, Johann Santana, Ugueth Urbina, MIguel Cairo...Ozzie Guillen (who is Chi W-Sox Manager)..Luis Sojo (third base coach for the glorious Yankees)...just to name a few good ones...I live Baseball...PLayed it since I was very little... Astros would be great....actually I'd also like to see them win...it's good to have new teams "in competition".. ![]() |
