Who knows that there was another group of Temptations before OUR Tempts were ever on the scene? This is the closest thing they ever had to a "hit" (and it really wasn't all that close) www.uploadit.org/ivoryfair/Barbara.rmYeah, definately not the same group.  |

These guys were based out of New York City and were short-lived at that too. I remember hearing this clip on the "Oldies" radio station, here in NYC (WCBS-FM 101.1) about 25 years ago and when the DJ said "the Temptations sing 'Barbara' " I said to myself "I never heard this one by the Temps" only to find out this was that group from NYC. |

A white doo wop group from brooklyn, and the song was i belive 58 or 59 ... Alot of people remember that song but when you say temptations ... they don't think of that one ... lol ;D
