Hey Cheech,
I went to amazon.com to listen to a sample of "Walk away from Love" by Choice Four. Guess what ... just samples of some more or less boring songs. Do you think you can find that song for me? But if that's too much work ... just forget about it. They really sound anemic ...

Though, this is mainly, not wholy for the Temptations.

"That" and Life Is But A Dream....I asked for that too, but once again, it was in the general discussions area Hey Earthangel... On the discussion end, I thought I pass this along from www.theoriginal-harptones.com/frameset.htmRAOUL J. CITA---the arranger, writer, and manager for the group is the founder of the group. He has written many of the Harptones songs like "Life is but a Dream," My Memories of You," "That's the Way it Goes," and "Three Wishes." He has managed to keep the group going together for these many years. Cita is their accompanist with the piano in personal appearances, and sings an occasional bass. These guys are still performing (we have a tentative New Years Eve gig with them in Nassau, Bahamas). I spoke with lead singer Willie Winfield and he was highly impressed with the Temptations' version of 'Life Is But A Dream'.

"That" and Life Is But A Dream....I asked for that too, but once again, it was in the general discussions area Well I participated for the "listening", now I guess it's time for the discussing. How do you think Paul woulda have sounded on "Life Is But A Dream"...about 2 years ago I heard a clip of that song, and I was still very new to the Tempts, so I thought it was Paul singing lead. I'd only heard the part where he sings "...life has it's songs of love...then the chorus". Now when I listen to that song I can tell it's not Paul, not only because I can pick out his voice, but also because of how..."modern" it sounds. But what if Paul was still around and he sang lead on it. Think it'd sound good? I can hear him now...and imagine Eddie singing the high part in the background. I think it'd be bad (as in good )

You know ............ I hadn't ever thought about how Paul would sound on that song, but now that you mention it, Paul had that mid-century dreamyness that the song needs (like Nat, Frank, Billie) ............ so yeah, he would have been PERFECT!
