temptsinfo.com/smilies/wtg.gif Dennis. But still......it's made for David. Can't explain it..... sorry. I think I even like David Sea doing it better than Dennis, and you know I love Dennis. :inlove Maybe it was just the way the band was playing it for the Copa show.... a little faster than I'm used to, and a little funkier. I think what the issue might be is that the song needs a slightly more bombastic reading than Richard gives it. Richard has a sweet voice and he's trying to rough it up, which he doesn't seem to be able to do.
Not terrible by any means. But he ain't David. I just got the LP of "Live At The Copa" tonight, so I'm gonna have to give it a listen tomorrow.

Okay I can not argue on his voice it is nice, and tender...There inlies the problem...when david did the song..He had that Ruff deep voice, and that Crack and squeak he did...Those are what made the song a hit...Not the song but The VOICE...But I can not deny the song it's props..."People need to see this is not just words on a peice opf paper this is from someones hurt and pain" *otis williams*...But who else but DAVID can say EASES THE PAIN...the way he does?...that was a song that showcased his voice and I will Put david and rain together ALWAYS>
