A couple of visits today, this board isn't completely dead.

Man, I hear you. This place was a party back in the day. I've noticed that nearly all Tempts site are idle or closed. It's sad because I could talk about the Tempts forever. This place is a ghost town.

I'm with you all on this topic. What happened to Ivory Fair, Bud Rocket, MikeNYC, AnnaKonda, Aba, etc, ..... They all jumped ship....Arrrrghhhh.

After reading a lot of negative comments about the Temps appearance on DWTS,maybe they should delay releasing a new album...They need to re-evaluate the sound,because Bruce and Terry,as nice and hardworking as they may be,just can't seem to deliver that Temp sound like Otis,Ron and Joe!!When singing 5 part harmony they sound "damn good",but when they have to sing individual parts,is when the trouble begins....I've always stood up for the Temps and I'm not gonna abandon them now,but they need to go back to the drawing board before releasing any new music...Feature Joe and Ron a little more with Otis in the background talking sweet to the ladies!!!!Temps 4-ever...

Hi! What happened to this forum was that all of a sudden two opposing fronts had formed. Roughly they could be defined as pro Otis and anti Otis. Then the mobbing started. Rivalry, nasty gossip, character assassination, and more of that nasty behavior took over the discussions. In the end, friends were not friends anymore, and the forum was no longer a place to enjoy.
Mike NYC has his own site. AnnaKonda, which would be me, has a music blog going. Aba -- I don't know what happened to him. But there was an article in the NYT about him a while ago, saying that he owns a club in NYC.
For all those who remember Kendu: he is very ill, but still cracks jokes like a champ.

;)I think that personnel changes and the Albums after "Phoenix Rising" were below parr caused a lot of people to loose interest in the Temptations.

This board has covered just about every issue the group has gone threw. People move on.....The Temptations are a old group now. THE VOICES ARE GONE!

There is really not a lot to talk about and the thrill is GONE

The only saving grace is the music.....you can always play the albums
CD's and DVD's.......other than that there is no NEWS

You're right. Things have only went downhill since the new millennium kicked in. To me, they haven't sounded the same since Bo and Harry left, although I do think Still Here was their best album since Awesome.

I'm waiting on the next personnel change, which is always an inevitable thing with the Tempts. When that happens, we'll have temporary discussion around here again. I think the last time we had lengthy discussions around here was when G.C. left and was replaced by Bruce.
