THE TITLE IS "THEN AND NOW"
THIS CD IS LONG OVERDUE. I WONDER WHY GLENN TOOK SO LONG TO DO A SOLO PROJECT. IS THIS A GREAT CD?? NO! BUT NOT BAD.

GLENN MADE AN EXCELLENT CHOICE IN USING JEAN CARNE. SHE GOT HER START SINGING JAZZ VOCALS WITH HER FIRST HUSBAND DOUG CARN. THEY DID SOME GREAT LP'S THAT OUT OF PRINT....Spirit of the New Land

THERE WERE THE SONGS THAT HE TRIED TO SING LIKE EDDIE AND THE SONGS DID NOT COME ACROSS - THE SONGS WITH JEAN WERE VERY GOOD IN MY OPINION. THIS CD IS A NICE ONE TO ADD TO YOUR COLLECTION. I WOULD GRADE THIS CD ....B

I'd say the singing is great. But the instrumentation on most of the tracks is substandard, imo. And the the corny, lame smooth jazz sax approach is downright annoying.
Glenn's voice is amazing, though. He and Jean are a perfect match. Time hasn't done much damage to their voices.
I had to smile when I heard Glenn paying tribute to Eddie -- he had it down even to the typical pronunciation of the "i" in Eddies charming accent.

I am a sax man....i admit he needed better musicians
on some of the songs the sax was pretty good.....but it sounded the same.....that's what made it annoying

Glenn always opened his shows with an acappela version of Can I. Eddie K was his guy. The man can flat out sing. Im glad he's Hear To tempt Us again.
