I love it, although I don't understand all of it ... But the important parts are clear ... Cheech, what happened to your picture? You used to be soooo handsome?

Ivory,
now I know it's hard to understand, but Jackie's song is a kind of literary work ... it's kind of holding a mirror up to others. It serves the purpose of showing us to what extremes a relationship can go, in my opinion. That's probably what comes after all the sweet "bayayaybees" and "ooooohs and aaaahs." He's being graphic to bring his point across.

There is another party on that song, her name is Lavern Baker, we mustn't forget Lavern who is awesome. I've heard the clean released version (which was Lavern's last chart action), but hadn't heard the xxx version yet (surprising, because one of my favorite subgenres of R&B music are 1950s and 60s raunch records a la Bullmoose Jackson songs, etc.). The song "Think Twice," clean or unclean, is a GREAT record, but I think the unclean version is more fun for obvious reasons. Although Lavern's language is a bit out of hand.
