Ron Banks, legendary singer and one of the founders of The Dramatics passed away Thursday, March 4th at his home in Detroit, Michigan. His singing style was often compared to that of Eddie Kendricks. The Dramatics, in my opinion were severely underrated. Their hits included "Whatcha see, Is whatcha get", "In the Rain", "Be My Girl", "Shake It Well", "I Can't get over You", "Me and Mrs. Jones", and a host of many others, including "Doggy Dog World", with Snoop Dogg in the early nineties. Their vocal style with multi-lead vocalists were often compared talent wise to that of The Temptations. Mr. Banks will be severely missed. Rest In Peace, Ron!!!
