Does anyone know where I can listen to their albums? "The Futures" is the group that Harry McGilberry sung with during the 1970s and 80s. I've heard they were a Temptations-styled group. Does anyone know where I can listen to their stuff? I can't find a single song online.

LOL, you've got me going! Did you hear Harry's "Mr. Bojangles" lead? And "Sunshine and You"? While Melvin's bass was a little to heavy, imo, to have him sing an entire song, Harry's voice was very pleasant to listen at in a solo. And you HAVE to hear their rendition of "Silhouettes!"

Thanks, AnnaK!! They were a great group. They were obviously inspired by The Temptations, which is a good thing. I haven't heard Harry sing "Mr. Bojangles." I want to hear their version of "Silhouettes," too. Can you hook me up?

I just wanna say that these brothers were bad. (As in good.) They remind me of the Temptations. Same style and structure. Their lead singer looks like Larry Holmes, but his voice sometimes resembles Bo Henderson. Harry sounded great singing bass for these guys. It's interesting to hear him singing bass for a group that isn't the Temptations. It's cool because he sounds a lot like Melvin in some ways (maybe it's just the deep pitch) but in other ways, he sounds quite different.

Great group! Beset by drug and other problems which tore the group apart. But Listen To Feels Just Like The First Time and Aint Got Time For Nothing! You will see they had a great sound!

They were exceptional, I think. The background harmonies on "Silhouettes" are simply wonderful.
