CNN is reporting major power outtages in New York, Detroit, Cleveland, Toronto and other places. This is strange. ......... and now Toledo. Of course no one in NY can read this, but you're in my thoughts. ClassicR&B, are you with us?

How does this happen? Looks like after that bad black out in New York in the 60's that they would have figured out a back up plan. The subways are shutdown, people are trapped undergound, stuck in elevators in sky skrapers , hospitals...........

Now NY officials are saying that it's the result of a large section of the power grid became overloaded and they do not suspect a terrorist attack.

I was there. A song by the Trammps called WHERE WERE YOU WHEN THE LIGHTS WENT OUT IN NYC. MIKE JUST CALLED ME ON THE CELL BUT I HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO GET HIM BACK. IT SOUNDS LIKE A MESS. LAST TIME THIS HAPPENED A LOT OF BABIES WERE MADE DURING THE BLACKOUT. AT LEAST ACCORDING TO THE TRAMMPS. ;D ;D ;D

Yes, more! It's so awful. A reporter said a woman came up to him and asked if he knew which way Brooklyn was.

Does anyone know how the power is generated up there? Is it all hydroelectric like it is down here?
Now they're speculating that the computer worm (virus) that broke out on Monday had something to do with it. All those folks downloading off of Kazaa while they're at work! ;D
