If Charlotte's weather EVER clears up enough for us to SEE the sky, I'd love to view the meteor showers and Mars. It has rained 11 out of the 12 days so far in August.  |

I did not get to see anything last night but will try again tonight. I have to try from inside the house since the treat of West Nile virus is on the rise here. Can't go out at midnight since they are spraying from land and air. Two choices, die from a mosquito bites or die from the spray  |

I do have a mosquito net hanging in my daughters room.
I originally bought for decoration but now it may come in handy for keeping them darn little critters away from her.

Umm...I would have liked to have seen this meteor shower, but the news said to look for it at 4 AM! With me back in school, there's no way I couldda pulled that off

Well, no show for me.
It was cloudy and we had thunderstorms last night.

Oh yeah! I was spending the night with some friends and my friend Lauren was like "It's 4:00! Let's go out and see the meteors!" so we went out and there was only one! And he missed it too! And we stayed out there until 6:30 and only saw ONE!
