Its been a good few years since I posted on here so long that I forgot my registration details. Anyhow am back and I came across this the other day - www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hp42GN4ZLgAWe all know that photos, video's and audio of the reunion have hardly ever come to the surface. This is certainly the first video I've ever seen of a performance by the seven, apart from the video for standing on the top.

Great. I wonder if any "Reunion" concerts will ever be released? We fans sure want it.

WB livesey! I think I remember you ... ;D
I wonder why there is no Reunion material available. The reunion formation was simply grandiose ...

I am puzzled by several aspects. 1. It obviously is the recorded song, and the Tempts are lip-synching, but I understand that was common when doing TV or when being filmed. But I am not sure how this got filmed. Certainly youtube and digital videos were not around then. So is this something professionally filmed? 2. It is amusing to see the camera go to David and hear Paul's voice. That seems stretching something a bit too far. I cannot image any Tempt fan not recognizing Paul's voice, especially way back then. 3. Eddie looks sick. If someone were angry, they still would want to make their #1 hit lead song something sensational for the audience. 4. I'd like to know whether this was the first of the tour, or the end of the tour. 5. Still there is no group like the Temptations, just seeing all seven is "a dream come true." 6. I really appreciate seeing the video, but how did it get filmed and how did it get on youtue?

Actually, this is a performance of the Temptations "Reunion" on the program called "Solid Gold". This was a weekly syndicated musical variety show that aired in the early 1980's. It was originally hosted by Dionne Warwick and then by Marilyn McCoo. I think this performance was from 1982.
