The other night I was speaking with Coey and she bought up an interesting point and it is one that I have not seen posted on this site. In the credits in the back of leaflet, (1) On Joe's page there is nothing from him personally, and (2) it also credits another bass singer for singing on the CD. Does anyone have an answer for this?

I just remembered the fact that there's also a new bass singer credited on "Still Here" as well. Joe Herndon hasn't recorded a note with the Tempts for two albums now!!
Has anyone got any info on Billy Cox or Odeen Mays? Both of them sang bass vocals on the last two albums.

If it's that easy to get a job as a Tempts bass singer, then they need to hire me.

If it's that easy to get a job as a Tempts bass singer, then they need to hire me. No it is not easy. I have been singing bass since my voice change at sixteen. I have personally sang every rift of every Tempt song every made with Ole Man River down to a science identical to Blue. Currently work with a group where we do a complete Temptation show and we do every choreagraph routine to perfection. Being a Temptation takes a lot of dedication and sacrifices. Being on the road is grueling to say the least, but once you are in. You have to prove you have what it takes. Be very careful what you wish for.
