Yeah its just perfect the lyrics are everything a man in love needs to say! Believe me I know!!! It was always The Undisputed truth's you got the love I need version that got the big spins in the U.K. Basically because this was never heard until 1994 even then many people wouldn't play it because it was on C.D but now its out on a U.K C.D people may be a little more accomodating to it and im damn sure its going to be bigger than the undisputed truth because its just a simply better song. Did you know it was due to be released on the whole lotta soul album? but it was shelved at the last minute. Will never know why!

Half the songs on "Lost and Found" were done for the "Lot of Soul" album. It's funny, cause I heard "I've Got Heaven Right Here On Earth", before I heard "You Got The Love I Need", so when I heard the Undisputed Truth sing it, it took me a moment to find out what that tune was. Norman Whitfield did that a lot. You in the UK get so much more stuff than we do, it's embarassing.

The rare soul scene in the U.K basically because its highly obscure and forgotten rare soul from small indepentley owned labels all thoughout the U.S etc as well as the massiv labels and for one reason or another never made it big apart from people int he north of england who latched on to these fantastic records and made a massive music scene built around them which has been going for over 40 years. Yeah you really would love that scene. Not mentioning the motown we hear over here. Believe me half of it has never seen the light of day apart from a few dodgy accetates that drifted over to england. A guy called Chris King basically remorgated his house a few years ago and walked out with over 2000 unreleased songs from the motown vaults... Just to give you a taster a c.d i picked up this weekend to play has tracks such as BARBARA MCNAIR: IT HAPPENS EVERY TIME, THE ORIGINALS: TEAR IT ON DOWN (Freddie Gorman didn't remember recording this when I asked him last year), THE TEMPTATIONS: HEAVEN RIGHT HERE ON EARTH, THE FANTASTIC FOUR: DON'T TELL ME IM CRAZY, THE VELVELLETES: LET LOVE LIVE A LITTLE LONGER.... There are so many more but I ahven't time to list all of the C.Ds that have come out int he u.k lately and what me and others have been playing in the u.k. Will give you a full list tommorow u.k time.

The deal with this song is that David's voice is too whipped up. There's a limit and I think Norman reached that.
