I feel that in 1988, Nique was robbed. The only reason Jordan won the slam dunk contest in 1988 was because he was at home. Dominique's dunks were inventive, exciting and a stole breath. Jordan were not as good. MJ won off of a dunk wher he scratched from the line and was not complex at all. Nique did complex dunks which had distance as well, and should have won him the contest. The fact is a dunk from the foul line is just not a creative dunk. Maybe if jordan had done a two hand 360 off one leg, then he should have won. But his dunk before that as a 47 and Nique had already scored 3 50's in a row. It was an unfair contest.
He got robbed in 88 out of the dunk contest and in 98 out of the top 50. Is there no justice?
discuss.

Actually, I agree about the dunk contest. Wilkens should've won it , he was better.
As for the top 50, he doesn't get in before Bob McAdoo.

michael was great, but dominique wilkins was unconscious! he was robbed because the judges feared for their lives from the chitown crowd!
