Dr. No amd From Russia With Love are fine movies. I enjoy them a lot.
But Goldfinger IS the flick. From Bond getting talking his way out of getting split open by a laser, to him meeting Honor Blackman the first time, to his fight with Harold Sakata at Ft. Knox, to the Aston Martin(which I wanted), this is the real deal.

Never thought and still don't think Roger Moore as James Bond.
Simon Templar, maybe. But not Commander Bond...

Goldfinger gets MY vote...but I do think Pierce is the only one who is fit to wipe Sean's boots in the Bond role.

did you see IVORY FAIR in that new spy action thriller- BLONDE , CHANGED BLONDE! ;D ;D ;D I always thought in the '60's, 007 could end up in Cincinnati at King Records, where he would meet a guy who would tell him: My name is Brown, James Brown... 007 with his accent and JB saying, "It's A Mans World, huh".

Fell for a woman married her and what happended ....she was killed and he cried. That would have never happened to Sean. He would just as soon kill you as talk to you. Pierce has that darkness about. Tim was no good at being James either. Although I did like Roger too.

What was the first thing 007 did in Diamonds Are Forever ? Looked for Blofield. Almost strangled a girl trying to get the info( a nifty move at that). Then he killed him(or so he thought). And he wasn't playing, wasn't messing around. Now that's Bond with his license...

Oh, I see someone voted for From Russia With Love...
Isn't the opening sequence the coolest?
