I saw one person comment on how Eddie wasn't in the picnic scene, but he actually was. He was the one in the white hat that was standing next Berry at the grill. (I think Berry has some ribs, and they sho was lookin' good! ;D) Eddie was included, but he didn't have any lines. I also noticed that before singing "Get Ready" at the Copa (I know some of you female Christian P. fans will get mad at this), but Christian kissed some lady on the cheek before going on stage. Maybe it was his wife or something. These are some things that I just noticed a while ago after watching the movie. Someone let me know if they noticed these as well or if I'm just slow in my delivery. Did y'all notice that all the Tempts, except for David, had on hats in the picnic scene?

Yeah I noticed everything you're talking about. I thought, that Paul was just being friendly to a fellow motown co-worker, but now after reading your post I'll probably think about it differently.

I also noticed that Dennis was in the picnic scene. I think Berry was putting a burger on Dennis's bun.
LOL @ Dnice! Gotta keep that process in tip-top shape for the ladies (or Tammi in this case.) ;D

I'd like to add something that I just noticed. I'm watching the movie right now and thought about the rumours that I've heard about Richard and Eddie. (They supposedly couldn't stand each other.) Anyways, after "Otis" says: "Eddie Kendricks quit the Temptations ( ), Richard looked somewhat happy. He also sort of at Eddie when he looked over at him while singing "Just My Imagination". Just another observation of mine. Someone please set me straight if they have the scoop on these two.

I've heard and read that Eddie didn't like Richard for some reason, that I was never told of. I never heard anything about Richard not liking Eddie, as was told to me, it was Eddie who didn't like Richard. To me it doesn't look like Richard was happy when Eddie left, it just looked like he just gave him a regular look and that was it. But when they were singing, Richard had this look on his face, like he was tired of Eddie giving him those looks like he(Richard) shouldn't be up there on stage singing with them. But the interesting thing is the real Eddie Kendricks is bigger than the real Richard Street, so if that happened in real life. Eddie would be looking down on him, instead of up at him, like it was depicted in the movie. I wonder if it did happen that way, was Richard thinking that him and Eddie were going to get into it on stage. I remember a performance by the real Temptations, when they sang "I Can't Get Next To You" and it was just 4 of them, I don't think it's on youtube, and I'm not referring to the one without Eddie Kendicks, I'm referring to the one without Paul Williams, anyway Eddie had this look like he was ready to fight(like he was pissed off about something), I'm guessing he had that same look when he kept eyeing Richard, so I'm wondering did Richard think that Eddie was going to clock him or what, cause I know if somebody had that look on there face, and they kept giving me those looks, I would be expecting that person to start a fight or something, if Eddie didn't walk off stage, things maybe could've got out of hand, on stage or backstage.

My theory is that since Richard had feelings for Diana and Eddie and Diana were involved at one time that Ed would sort of get ticked off at Richard for "coming on to her". I also think that Paul's illness and not being able to perform had something to do with it also. That performance that you were talking about without Paul was on youtube, but it got deleted. Boy, did Eddie look like he was going to spring on somebody! Whew!!!!

I got a chance to see that clip again on some website from a link I got from Cornbread's Kitchen. Eddie looked like he was gonna come through the computer and shank me!!! I felt his frustration with the group. Sorry about the spontaneous post. Can't sleep tonight!

When viewing the movie my eyes zoomed in on the guy standing near the door in the black suite, when Otis was waiting on Al. The camera did a close up of him and he favored Eddie Kendricks. Did anyone else notice?

When Otis, first notice the Primes and Primettes. Al was late and one man was sitting on the bar stool and the guy in black was standing with his arms folded.

No that is not Eddie and IMO he looks nothing like my Eddie maybe a "Black Lurch" (Adams Family), but not a fine Eddie ;D

I know that this is off topic, but I just got back from seeing "Why Did I Get Married", and I really enjoyed it. There were a couple of parts in the move where everyone in the theater just went "Oh SNAP!" and then there were parts where you kind of wanted to cry. The guy that plays Jimmy Ruffin in "The Temptations" was in the film....and I think I've got a new crush. He looks WAY better without the process, he has a great smile, and such a charming and sweet thing about him....he ain't so bad to look at either! ;D Just wanted to share that with y'all.
