Actually actor D.B Woodside will play President Wayne Palmer in season six of the Fox Networks hit show 24 that starts in January

I am a 24 fan but DB woodside can't hold a candle to "SnakeDoc"Aka The real President Palmer "Dennis Haysbert". Now with all that said I will be glued to the tube to see the hardest working agent in America "Jack Bauer"

I agree with the performance of Dennis Haysbert as President. But, from what I've read, DB will play a President Palmer who wants to take the correct course but isn't quite sure what it is. This course of action is preferable over trying to just imitate Haysbert's performance. It will also give DB a chance to create a different kind of person from that of Haysbert's character. I like DB as an actor and thought he was terrific as Melvin and am now looking forward to his performance in "24."

In looking at the clips of Peter MacNichol, I am curious as to what his character will be like. When I had first heard he would appear in "24" I thought his character might be somewhat like the philosophizing professor he plays to counter the math professor in "Numbers."
