(((Grams))) You are having way too much fun with Aba. The strategy of a pro! Kill with kindess! ((Tara))!!!! You are sooooo undeducated ... I am ashamed of you I was not talking about kissing. I was talking about the sloagan that Berry Gordy created to describe the characteristics of the Motown sound. Otis Williams stated in one of his interviews with Terry Gross on NPR that KISS was short for "Keep It Simple, Stupid." Since Aba considers my English "simple," I wanted to make clear that I was only following Motown rules by keeping my sentences simple; I mean, who wants to admit his/her shortcomings? See, I never would kiss a gentleman who makes fun of others' difficulties with a second (wait -- even third -- language) just because he can't handle an "adult conversation" laced with sarcasm, to use the same gentleman's often used phrase. I leave professional/fake kindness to others ... Say It In Broken English First, let me say this. I didn't say anywhere in my post that your english was simple. I believe I said to put it in simple english or plain english. Had nothing to do with your english at all. Now all of a sudden englis is your second or third language. I don't see and problems with it when you comment on Otis Williams.I don't give a damn what language you speak. I can read for myself that you don't like Otis Williams and you use any and every thread to let anybody who will listen know it. Have you ever met the man? have you ever seen anycombination of the Temptations. They were in San ANtonio last week or so......did you know that? I didn't jump on you personaly but we can go there if you wish. For me to be a gentleman I have to be talking to a lady. You take that where you want.. I can hold a conversation with anyone on this board, including you. but only with you if I take the sarcasm and negative comments about Otis. It may be a joke to you when it comes to Otis but you take your David seriously. Let someone continuously say things about David like you do about Otis. I can imagine how you'd, and I use your word, REACT to it. Most of the time I do let them slide but sometimes I don't. If you can dish it out, you better be able to take it. I am not the only one who has taken you to task. A 17 year old novice poster can see right through your negative light and called you on it in language I have never used on you but certainly have thought about it. Others have tried to give you information after all this and then you turn around and say its not important. It was never important to you. You ain't interested in anything but David Ruffin. That's your right. Who the hell do you think you are to tell me whether I can have a conversation or not? I have damn near 9000 posts on this board................somebody's listening. I don't care if you don't. Don't attack me....I didn't attack you. I attacked your comments is all.

She called you on your comments. and I know you were looking for support in this endeavor but it ain't there, Anna. I saw your post before you revised it. Whatever shortcomings I have, they are not in speaking the King's English.

"... I am college educated I think the simple english used in your comments can be understood even by me. "
So much for "didn't use "simple English."

"... I am college educated I think the simple english used in your comments can be understood even by me. " So much for "didn't use "simple English." Read into what you want Anna. Simple has more than one meaning. I just expalained to you that simple can also mean plain english which is what I meant. But that's not even the point. Go get back at all the others who have called you out. Why single me out. I cna find at least four or five posters on this thread alone who have questioned your comments.

Because you said you were college educated. I don't know about the others. ;D And you get so wonderfully mad ... Nobody can match you in that regard.

You know...rehashing all the same arguments brings back memories of holidays gone wrong... :-[my father making us leave my granny's in the middle of Christmas dinner because Uncle Donald said something he didn't like.
