Hey fellow board members!!  If you haven't already, check out the "Temptations Fan Fiction" section. There are two new stories. An excellent story called "Mary Sue" by David Ruffin fan and another great story called "Too proud to beg" by Lightdion!! It's clearly fictional and were just having fun with the best group on this planet. If you would like too place any comments on the stories we would GREATLY appreciate it. It's nice to have comments on what you've done, you know. Thanks in advance P.S: If you would like to write a story, please feel free to post in the Fan Fiction Section and with a title because it can get confusing not knowing which story is which. Hey ya'll. DRL here & I'm posting to say that Lightdions story is fabulous!! Tons of humor in it which I personally love. It tells so far of a meeting between the group for an emergency "dance rehearsal" if you will. They all gather to learn some smooth new moves, but will David show up in time? Will the group learn the dance in time? Were the hell is David really & will he ever be on time?! Find out in the exciting continuence of Lightdions "Ain't to Proud to Beg" coming soon to our fanfic thread =) Its a wonderfull story & I highly recommend it to all =D

Hey, check out "Mary Sue" by DRL. It's a great love story by none other than Mr. David Ruffin himself. The story begins in 1958, when David is a young man moving to Detriot and before he began to fully involve himself in music. He meets an "Ivory" girl and to two mysteriously fall in love with each other. It becomes hard because interracial love was not widely accepted in those days.......
Filled with humor, romance, and suspense and some familiar characters, this story will have you immediatly drawn into it. And don't worry, the story will comtinue on!!

Lol, one correction to that review. It's called "Davids Story" not "Mary Sue", though it is a "Mary Sue". I know thats ounds confusing but whatever =) Thanks for the good review lightdion!! Lol, by Mr. david Ruffin himself, I love that =D

Ain't to Proud to Beg (part2) review:
Sooo good. David is potrayed very well for being in the position he's in. I believe David is written very well. Well I can't say to much about it cause it'd give the 2cnd part away....but there is a nice little twist in it & is hilarious(in my opinion). Go Betty! lol. Very well done lightdion =D Read it people!!

"David's Story" Review:
The recent chapters are sooo interesting. Read as our David Ruffin gets to become deeply involved with Mrs. Honey Daniels. Of course as David being the risk taker that he was, see how he willingly risks himself to become involved in a interracial relationship all with hilarious plots and romantic twists and turns. Also there are some very familiar characters being introduced in. The plot also teaches a valuable lesson about racism and how you've gotta take risks when you know the feeling is right.
This read is a must and if you can't read it at one time, then read in pieces cause you won't regret it!

"David's Story, Continued":
Chapters 14,15,16 becomes more intense and deeper for David. He finally scores the date with Honey and it is really official and they will be going out to the concert at the "St. Stephen's Community Center" in 1960. Sound familiar? Should be! Read how Daivd's date with Honey goes as he brings her to his neck of the woods (or "His Hood"). Also there are some Very familiar people making thier debut in the story. See that David had all the charm in the world and used it to put Honey on "Cloud Nine"!
Keep reading to find out what I mean.

Hey, got back from camping yesterday afternoon. I've posted chapters 17, 18, 19, & 20 for ya'll. Needless to say I had many ideas bouncing around in my head while I was gone. Working on chapter 21 right now too. So go read & review =D

David's story (cont.): Chapter's 17-24 have been interesting y'all. Won't give too much away, but David and Honey are graduating but they have some problems that get in the way of thier developing relationship. That is until David get some help from his family of course. Needless to say, they end up together "Romeo and Juliet" style and Jimmy finally gets his act together. The plot continues to follow the plot of the movie and of course there will be more familiar faces. Great read and once you do, you'll be wanting to see what happens next!! Kudos to a great author: David Ruffin Lover. Just giving props when props are due!  |

FINALLY!!!! We can all sleep soundly.....Part 3 of "Ain't To Proud To BEG" has been posted!!!!!!!!!! David finally arrives to rehearsal, but is he to late to save himself from being "let go"? Can he work his magic charm once again & save his ass or is O really putting his foot down? Does Betty end up with David? Does the group have a routine in time? All 4 burning questions answered with MUCH satisfaction =) Go read the thrilling conclusion of "Ain't to Proud to Beg" =D I lOVED it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
