You guys gotta stop writting about The Five Heart Beats, or atleast don't give anything away....I have not seen it yet. But I will, I can promise you that!! I'm gonna go look for that icon & see who has it. lol drl.... shoot... just get the movie..... ya wont regret it... lots more to that movie then what I said... try amazon.com... they usually have it in stock, youll have it in a few days... or.... try callin up wallmart or target.. I think they usually have it.. but check first... I have 2 copies... ya never know when something is gonna turn up missing |

ohh I see.. okay.. so I guessed wrong.. lol.... yeah.. there were some things that I noticed were the same as Kane.. and Ruffin.. hmm never really made the connection.. guess some things just threw me off... shy brother... death of the manager.. Big Red...etc.. .. its a pretty good movie. The best song on the soundtrack or second best, Nights Like This was sung by the group After 7. A Heart Is A House FOr Love many consider the best song, by the Dells |

It's ironic, the icon(avatar) I was so desperately looking for I now have myself....minus Madonna under him. I still swear someone else has/had that icon. I also finally figured out it ain't in a movie, it's in the Madonna Like a Prayer video....made that discovery last night with the help of some very kind people =D Now I just gotta find away to get hold of the music video....

Oh my, I actually thought that the "Five Heartbeats" was a real group  . This is what I get for listening to people who convinced me that they were real. I suppose the Dells sung in for them, and the Heartbeat used thier songs?? Hmm..... |

lol, I embarass myself all the time.....like on the modern songs thread were I thought they were reffering to Britneys song "Hit me baby one more time" instead of the show....ya, felt real dumb =)

I watched every bit of that show, the pre show, the awards itself, & the post show & I'm not even sure I saw Leon once!! I think I did, if not it was a guy that looked a hell of a lot like him. But they only showed him a few times in the audience for like 5 seconds!! And go figure, everytime they showed him I couldn't push the damn record button fast enough!!!! So if it wasn't him, man he has like a hott look-a-like out there, if it was him; ya'll he's looking fine as ever!!!!!!!!!! Now how you ask can I, DRL not recognize Leon as much as I love him? I'll tell ya'll how, cause there was only like 5 seconds shots of him that's why!! Now, the awards are on again on Friday on BET of course for those of you who missed it & I for one am going out & buying me a pack of 8 hour blank tapes & taping that whole damn award show & re-watching it to see if that was my Leon!! That's true love right their cause that's the longest award show I've ever watched & I watch a lot of award shoes(MTV music video & movie awards, Oscars, Grammys, Emmys, etc.). Doing it all for you though Leon, you my man =D Don't get me wrong it was an awesome show!! Will & Jada hosted & were hilarious(loved Wills lap dance)!! The performances, man Destinys Child, Stevie Wonder, John Legend, Gladys Knight, Omarion, Missy Elliot, Mariah Carey, Ciara, Faith Evans, Toni Braxton, the list goes on!! It was a great show, but a hell of a lot to sit through when your looking for one person!! By the way for those of you who did watch it, ya'll notice like more then half the winners weren't there to except their awards?! Where the hell was everybody?!

Another thing about the award show, look at Stevie Wonders necklace!! Who is it of?! Now, I could be real stupid & it could be of himself or someone else, but I think it looked like none other then The David Ruffin!! And you know what I could be so wrong but I don't care cause I'm now just gonna call it The David Ruffin necklace.....that thing is tight no matter who it's of!!!! =D I want one =)

Hey you said you thought you saw him pat Gladys Knight on the shoulder be4 she went I on stage, I coulda sworn I saw him pat Pauletta Washington onstage be4 she went up to get the award for herself & on behalf of her husband(Denzel). So either he patted them both on the shoulder/arm or one of us is wrong =) Either way we both swear we saw Leon so it must've been him & we have really good eyes cause they only showed him breifly for a few times!! =D As for the crazy things we do for love, man I'd sit through an all day award show to catch a glimpse of Leon....crazy huh? Ya it is, but I'd still do it =D
