How many different versions are there?

I saw the mini series a few times on VH1 and loved it. I remember it being over 3 hours long.
I just picked up a copy of it on vhs and it is only an hour and 50 minutes. They cut the heck out of it removing some important scenes.
Does anyone know where the full length version can be purchased?

Lee...the DVD version is full length with all its parts (except, apparently, for a song from smokey that bridged the two, on TV). You MIGHT be able to find a copy of the 2-VHS version on Ebay...that's what was sold when the movie came out, but now all I have found retail in VHS has been the 1-VHS cut-up version

DVD: Walmart, Target. $10.00 I've bought quite a few at separate times.. loaned them to friends.. and they*lost* ?? it or cant find it LOL

Thank you kalisa. I have been lurking for a few weeks now and love the site. I especially love the video section. This is an amazing site
