This is silly one, but im too lazy to figure it out myself...so here:
As we all know the movie is based on Otis` book...but a lot of scenes in movie were WITHOUT Otis in the presence, so how could he write that? Like the conversation between Eddie and David or David and the drug-dealers thing...How?? Was it just his imagination or he just wrote what he heard somebody telling...?
** Maybe this has already been discussed somewhere earlier, but I apparently missed it, so somebody please explain it again... Thanks!

Hi Keres, That's funny you should ask that because I was wondering the same thing. Especially when 'Otis' says 'Paul still wasn't well enought to come back and David's words had hit their mark, Eddie Kendricks quit the Temptations' How did he know there was a discussion?

I always wondered about the drug dealer scene, etc. But my assumption was Otis (or whoever added that part.... I'll say the screenwriters) got that bit of info from Tony Turner's book.... as that was where I read about the Lincoln, etc.
The other scene with David and Eddie, I'm not sure, but I bet someone here knows.

We have a 1972 show that Eddie did at the Club Kabana in...ummm...Indianapolis? Cincinnatti? help me folks... anyways, at that show were David and Paul, who helped him out. Eddie and David weren't "Eddie and David" (appearing regularly together) at that time, but there is rumor and talk around here about the three of them possibily joining forces or wanting to join forces together...but then Paul died . Eddie and David did not really get a regular thing going together until even later.

And why? Are Eddie and Pauls car stopped down the street before while Blu is telling O about them? Did he get out of the car with them? LOL, well two possibilities here... 1) You weren't spozed to notice that car parked down the street :laughing . 2) You were spozed to notice it, and assume that Blu had been riding around talking with Eddie and Paul, and was let off to 'break it to Otis gently' before Eddie and Paul came on the scene...maybe waiting for a signal from Blu it was ok to "just happen by"... I vote for the former, like you weren't spozed to notice the late model SUV parked on the street after the show when David and Flynn are riding in the limo laughing their butts off...but we've noticed .

Why does Blu want to me named "the Testicles? :insane in the membrane :insane in the membrane . Does anyone notice the look on Otis' face when Jo tells him she is pregnant :faint: But I can't get past the car parted down the street :laughing

Hey temptress, I watched it and paused it many times and I came to the conclusion that there were two different cars. From what I could see, the front grills were different and Paul's car was a darker shade of blue and more raggedy than the car parked down the street. I thought the same thing too at first... watch it again, pause it and study the front grill and shade of blue...
