If the miniseries were in theatres, they would get more more recognizable stars to play the different parts (ie: They would probably get someone like Terrence Howard to play Flynn cause it seemed like he would fit the part well or Alfre Woodard to play Otis' mom and other known folks to play the supporting actors parts)
They would probably woulda got someone else to play one of the Temps- Otis' part maybe.

OMG Terrence Howard has been everywhere cause of all the "Hustle & Flow" press & when I see him I think Flynn, but course I don't mean that as an insult to him. But he looks so firmiliar cause I've seen him in a bunch of stuff but my mind keeps swearing he's in The Temptations & then I'm like no he ain't & it's an arguement that keeps going back & forth in my mind but ya....he'd so be Flyn!!!!!!!!!! Or Norman, he makes me think of Norman a lot too =)

Actually alot of well known actors did try out for that movie Morris Chestnut, and Terrance Howard both tried out for that movie, but they were not chosen because 1# they can't sing and 2# by them being in so many other "black Movies" it made it harder to see them as the Temptations, and more like Morris Chestnut or Terrance Howard playing the Temptations and 3# the actors more closely resembled the true Temptations than say Morris Chestnut or Terrance Howard.

If it was in theaters....
*Theyd have complete voice over dubbing on all singing parts.
*Those process hairdoos would be a little more cleaned up (wouldnt look like wigs hehe)
*Theyd go in more depth with each member.
*David ruffin would own the story... cuz hes fly like that.
*It would be longer.
*Otis and Melvins roles would be switched.
*An allstar soundtrack would be produced.
*The movie would end with some real footage.... like it shouldve.
Lets face it, we all gain interest when we see the real people in action, after watching their life stories acted out in a bio pic. Anyways, stuff like that.
