One scene that I really couldn't stand is when they were sitting aroung the piano while Smokey introduced 'My Girl' to them. When he started playing and singing the lead part, they guys all started singing the background part as one note in unison (the same note) and never changed. They never ascended nor descended. It doesn't sound good when everybody sings the same note. It seems that they could've at least rehearsed that scene and had them sing at least 3 part harmony. That's one reason I love Take6 so much too.

Beautys Only Skin Deep scence kicks butt!! Leon in that suit...good god*drooling*. I love trying to do the steps too, but its hard cause I 'll go to glance at the screen & will see Leon & kinda just get entranced watching him & so lose the steps!!

Oh ya, worse performance goes to *drum roll* LEON!!! Lol, "Ya'll tickle me, you believed me!" Man ya'll better know that I'm just kidding, dude if anything he deserves a freakin' Oscar for his performance!! I liked the guy who played Smokey(not just cause he was cute either). The dad didn't bug me, his acting was ok. The kid that played Otis's son tugs at my heart strongs each time...though his dialect I do find annoying & if I'm not really into it can ruin that scence for me. I thought the chick that played Jo was good. Um girl who played Diana Roos didn't even really have lines so i can't judge her(plus she was the prettiest in the group so give her a break). Um, I'd say really worse performance to guy who played Flyn(whatever the hell his name is). Not cause I thought he really did a bad acting job just cause the character really pisses me off....I like to blame all of Davids "issues/problems" on him. For example, I like to think Flyn, starting as Davids driver became his drug dealer ergo ruined Davids relationship with the group & caused his death. I also like to believe that just by being Davids driver he inflated Davids ego, etc. things like that.

Ugh, everytime I watch the movie I HATE Flyn more & more!! He, the character, just annoys the hell outta me; don't like him at all(no offense to gut that played him). Oh, my sister pointed this out. I may ask this as a new thread if I get no response here. But, do you guys think the girl that played Diana Ross looks like the chick(Caroline) in the Outkast-Roses music video? I do, my sister also pointed out that Leon reminds her of Andre from Outkast. Both tall & slender, amazing performers, definatley same stage/performing energy, etc. Now he ain't no Leon, certianly no David Ruffin either; but I agree with my sister in the similarities. What do ya'll think??

IMO, I think Rhonda Ross (Pauls wife in the movie) should have played Diana..But thats just my humble opinion...WHo ever the girl is that played Flo was a nice choice. Mary's coulda used some work

My top two worst performances go to Otis son Lamont, because he sounded soooo fake. I did some acting and am always being told to show emotion into your character. The boy shows little emotion into his charater. Me and my friends always laugh hard at his lines when they are playing basketball cause his dialouge was bad and he sounded monotonish. Otis' father came in second place just because he looked absolutely fake when Otis gave him that car!!

Oh, I can't stand Flynn either, his attitude and that gray spot in his head (Im' kiddin'). And the girl who played Diana does look like Caroline from the Roses video and I don't think Leon resembles Andre 3000, but that's my opinion- Leon looks better!!!

I hate Flynn, sorry. Love saying it. Leon on course is way hotter then Andre. I just thought of the 2 physical traits they shared(tall & slender), & their performance energy is amazing. Leon is without a doubt hotter, no question there!!!!!!!!!!

That's one reason I love Take6 so much too. I just saw this and I agree with it. Even the greenest singer should be able to find three parts of a harmony. In fact, if you're in a singing group, it's natural to do it. I know when I was, I always "heard" the high harmony of whatever note was being sung and just kinda fell in line whether I realized it or not. Don't know why they didn't. Ed |

I was...LOL! I used to sing with a group but we never really agreed on a direction (I wanted to do R&B and...well...I was alone in that desire) so we split. I also started having problems with my voice so I had to stop. Those problems have, by and large, subsided thankfully. Singing harmony is insane amounts of fun and I do it every once in a while. I've done leads on occasion but, for me, it isn't as much fun as doing background parts. I do leads on demos every so often but only if the writer is desperate enough. Otherwise, I stick to backgrounds.
