Mine were def the David Ruffin ones! the best was when Otis was mr bouncer again and booted David and he was flippin out sayin stuff like "WITHOUT DAVID RUFFIN, YOU AIN't NOTHIN!" "YOU'RE ALL A BUNCH OF FAKE A$$ TEMPS!" man, I dunno if that really happened but that was hilarious! on a side note was he really as much of a braggart as he was portrayed? because in interviews i've seen him in, he seems pretty cool and doesn't really talk about himself but rather funny and interesting memories of his career with the Temps. Like one where he said when they first played the Apollo, they parked the limo outside of the theater, right in front, and the driver went with them and left the car running, right? Then they come out and the Limo's gone and he's like "Man, this is Harlem!" LOL They should've put that in the movie because at least that was something accurate. I wonder how David would feel if he was still here about his portrayal because he can't offer a rebuttal obviously and that's not fair, unless it was right on the money. but I find it hard to believe most of it. I'm sure the fame cocked his head up for sure but i dunno if it made him totally inapproachable like that. Maybe that's the way Otis saw him though because it seems they didn't have a good relationship after their big break. Maybe though he was envious that David was the guy up there and not him. also why was it okay to call the group Otis Williams and the Siberians but when David had proposed going out there as David Ruffin and the Temptations(if he, in fact, did), considering he was singing lead, he flipped! if I was in Otis's shoes I could care less, I'd be happy just to have the gig, as long as the music was alright! Cheers Rob

a postscript to my last post:
in case anyone says it, I'm not flaming Otis cause I like David Ruffin and think he was an amazing singer. That's just how things seem to me, and the way the portrayed Ruffin is prolly questionable considering the movie was dramatized. Actually i feel bad that Otis practically started this group and he doesn't seem to get the accolades as the rest of the guys do, again, in my eyes anyway.
if anyone has any valuable input on this feel free to e-mail me
cheers Rob
