This morning I caught the Temptations on the Morning Show with Mike & Juliet on Fox 53 in Pittsburgh.
They were wearing Black Tux's....no tie sitting on stool's
They sang "How deep is your love" from the new "Back to front" CD. Ron Tyson sang lead and they did an OK job cut short by a commercial.
The way they were on the stage you couldn't really tell how big Bruce is......it was Joe, Otis, Ron in the center, Bruce and Terry. I thought they looked professional. Both Otis and Bruce are the heavy ones, but they blended together nicely. Harmony was OK, but for some reason they did not SOUND like the Temptations, especially Ron. Ron did not hit the high notes at all.

Maybe then Otis will have the good sense to bring back Glenn. And while he is at it he may as well jettison Bruce and Terry and bring back Ali and Theo. short of something really ingenious this group will continue to suck.

First, when I was listening to the sample track of the song, and later when I watched the clip of the TV show. I must add, though, he did a good job in "working his way around" the difficult parts. That goes to show that he knows what he's doing. AK

I saw the performance, and they sounded great to me, especially the harmonies, I just expected them to be dancing instead of sitting down, but as long as the vocals are sharp,it's all good.

I finally got to see the performance, and their voices were excellent as usual. I disagree about Ron losing his voice, though. Everyone has a bad night from time to time. He sounded fine at the concert I attended this summer and he still sounds the same on the CDs. I think he knew that his voice just wasn't 100% on this day, and he chose to avoid the big notes, which is a smart strategy
