Is it just me... I'm just about to freak out... I've collected each of the boxsets from Hip-O of the Motown singles series... and I was checking to see if Vol 8 had been released yet. I last checked Thursday. I saw it and then I clicked to see how much it was and it said it was sold out! HOW?! It was supposedly released Friday September 28, but it also says in the description, release date October 1. Then I checked back and they had removed it completely from the motownselect page! Man I hope it's a mistake and there are copies still to be sold because who ordered 6000 copies?!!!!! Plus, normally I get e-mails about pre-orders and when there are a few copies left. There was none of that. Anyone else run into that sinking feeling?

I'm sure an ebayer has purchased a few hundred if not a thousand just to turn around and sell them for 3 times what they paid. I've seen David Ruffin's unreleased album go for anywhere between $130 to $180.. Wasn't that CD like $29.99??

I was hoping it wasn't an e-bay thief! I'd hate to spend 300.00 for it. I feel I'll never have David's album because of stuff like that. I was hoping to enjoy this collection... but if someone bought all the copies without notification being sent through e-mail (and I checked... they sent notifications for previous releases)...

Whew! They're not sold out! I've already ordered... I am not letting another "David" slip by me.
