Eddie's solo career wasn't too shabby -- more R&B Top 10s as a solo artist than he had singing lead with the Tempts -- but it wasn't long-lived, either. Unlike David, his voice was shot by the early '80s. It's tough to promote someone who can't sing his biggest hits live anymore. I have the Live Aid performances from 1985. Eddie's voice was already as bad then as it was in the early-'90s. [/i][/color] Eddie is and will always be my favorite Temptation.....But Beej, when you're right you're right

i'm going to go with tempts still alive because to many coulda woulda shoulda's so here we go
Glenn-by far has the puriest falsetto i ever heard Joe- bass man...by default they rest have past but he still has the boom boom Otis-of course you need him love him or hate he's the harmony plus you will be sued if you don't haha Ali- the man can sing the best lead still alive better then dennis yes we know its true Theo- the tempts last 2 albums that were actually good he sang lead on both for lovers only and phoenix rising him and ali together again people watch out
My Wild Card-David Sea- the man never been a true temp but truly lives up to everything a tempts should be...plus the man can straight sing his but off...LET IT RAIN ALL OVER THE LAND!! he makes david proud everytime is sings that song...it rains everytime he sings because thats david looking down on him crying because he is so proud that someone can sing that song they way it should be song and do it so well!

I just love what you've said about David Sea!! I feel the same about the man. In my book, he is one heck of a Temptation (Review or whatever). He is a full blooded Tempt.

That would be an awesome lineup but just for kicks i would replace Otis with Louis Price. Louis had a lot of energy and was all heart.
