on the day after christmas there were valentine's candy boxes. on valentines there were easter baskets. for easter there were mothers day. then there were dads and grads on mothers day. now there's back to school. pretty soon there'll be christmas in july!  |

Unfortunately for me, I have no choice but to think about school. Goodness, my whole life hinges on decisions I make in the next 6 weeks with job interviews with various law firms at job fairs. For the first half of the summer I had to deal with the anxiety of not knowing whether I made a journal. I've been doing nothing but trying to remember information about the firms I'm interviewing with and researching the various costs of living for the cities I'm looking at. I'm so anxious my anxieties have anxieties.  |

Tomorrow marks a sad, sad day in history... Earthangel goes back to school And I don't wanna go! It's not the fact that it's back to school, it's just the new school that I have to go to! That school is so lame. But I will try to keep a positive attitude and an open mind, and just suck it up. Man, the summer seems like it went by sooo quickly this year. Feels like we just got out of school a month ago. But I'll still have time to swing by the board after school. And I will still acknowledge birthdays, it'll just be a lil later on in the day, unlike the midnight announcements I made during this summer Wish me luck  |

I love taking a break.... and I hate school. I've never liked it, I'll never like it, and I can't stand being there.  *calms down* If I had a dorm room, I'd be checking into it on Aug. 20 and I'm guessing classes start on Aug. 22. I don't know. They don't tell us anything. |

Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools go back August 18th but most of the other counties around us are back in school THIS week. :hairraiser:

My little girl goes back August 27th... a little later this year, but still way too soon! She has mixed feelings, as do I. She always has a "missing Mommy" week or so, and I have a "missing Anna" week or so. Yet, I get *a lot* more done when she isn't walking into the office every 10 minutes or so. ;D Still, I feel like the summer just flew by.... usually I get a week off and we do something fun. It could be going to see my sister in Arkansas....spending a few days somewhere else in Colorado just to relax....*anything*. But we didn't get to do that this year with the whole job upheaval. It's like the whole summer was wasted.  Plus, *I* didn't get a vacation! I was job hunting 24/7... and, as a contractor, we don't get vacations OR paid holidays.... Somehow, this turned into a rant. Sorry!!!! In other words, I don't want school to start yet!!!  Peach |

I know! This summer just FLEW by! But I don't start until the 18th, and the real fun of my summer should start around 12:30 today! Because my friend Penny (the one who moved) is flying in to visit and she doesn't leave until next Sunday, PLUS, the Weird Al concert is on Saturday, so I'm very excited. But I'm also ready to go back to school. I miss seeing my friends all the time, and I love to learn, and this year is the first year that I can take pretty much whatever classes I want.
