do we really need to read about alleged coke problems with john-john's wife caroline, and his anger with his wife for not having kids, and their possible divorce -
all coming out 4 years after the poor guy and his wife crashed in a horrible plane accident?
they cannot defend themselves and vanity fair is running excerpts from this new book from a kennedy biographer.
hasn't the kennedy family name been dragged through so much mud and tragedy in their lifetime? i know they have done lots of bad things- chappaquidick, infidelity,
murder(william kennedy smith) and the other kennedy relative who recently got convicted- but
these folks died tragically and i don't see the need for making $$ off hem.
some folks think that since the kennedys are rich and good looking that they are better than the rest of us .
others think of them as camelot with jackie.
what's your feelings?

I, for one, am really sick of stuff like this.  It royally sucks how people try to make money off of other people's alleged problems. Let these people rest in peace! The same sort of thing is happening now w/Michael Jordan's sister's new book. She supposedly dishing the family dirt. She was on the radio last week PROMOTING her book. What kind of mess is that?! Since when is it ok to reveal family issues to millions of people. Oh wait, millions of people are not gonna buy her book. I will never be convinced that her main goal is not to make the green. I don't buy that "writing this book was healing for me" SCHKUUUMP!!!! She accuses her father of molesting her as a child. I don't know if this is true, but what stands to come from revealing this and the man is dead?! Just like John John and Caroline, James Jordan can't defend himself. It's really disgusting how money drives people these days. Now I'm all riled up.  |

i agree lynnie! the daughter's father was MURDERED. does she have to make grief continue by smearing the man's name? even if true, let the s out privately, not publicly. nobody will benefit by this book but her, and i hope she doesn't either.

His name's Ed? How come all these years I thought it was James?  The book is going for 32.95 total and you have to buy it off of her website. I guess because no where else will touch it. You should have heard her on the radio. She said that a long time ago she didn't say anything b/c of Michael and his career. Funny, that very thing is what's gonna get those who buy her book. |

It's really sick and disturbing. Did the person who wrote the Kennedy book get sued yet?
The Kennedys are a fascinating bunch, but geez, give it a rest.

You know Sukka & Lynnie, in a perfect world those that have passed on would be allowed to R.I.P - without their past transgressions/scandals/embarrasments, etc continually being dredged up. Folks like: Marilyn Monroe, JFK, RFK, Dr. King, Malcolm X, Jackie Kennedy, Babe Ruth, Elvis, John Lennon, Princess Di, our beloved Tempts that have passed . . . and the list goes on. . . . So in a way, I am not at all surprised that dirt on JFK, Jr and his wife is coming out - I just wondered what took them so long........ I agree wholeheartedly with you that we don't need to read about their alleged marriage problems, coke problems, infidelity, etc. because frankly....it's none of our business......  But as long as their is an iota of interest (and of course, human nature being what it is. . . who can resist, there will be folks out there buying the book. People just need to let them rest in peace and leave some things to imagination, speculation and wonder..... |
