I'm sending out a happy everything to all the events, birthdays, Tempt Supreme status celebrations I missed! HAPPY EVERYTHING! You all have got to be tired of my David Copperfield act. Here I am! Here I am no more! Here I am! Nope... missed me! I've had a good time lately. The other week I ended up with 4 days off and I took off to visit some friends in the Outer Banks... first visit... didn't want to come home. I did a lot of firsts that weekend... first trip by myself that took over 4 hours (I got lost a couple of times...), first time I've crossed the VA/NC border since about 1989, first time I've been to the beach since 1982 and same for getting in the water... first time seeing a wild dolphin, first time collecting shells that weren't over a million years old... first time at a lighthouse, first ride on a real boat (I dunno if the ones on the canal in Richmond count) since 1990... first time I'd been to Water Country (back in Va) and in a pool in the last ten years... and I came home with quite a tan! I had too much fun. They gave me the 4 days off after having to work 7 straight days, so it was very welcomed. Now they've had me working 5 straight with one day in between them. Things are well here. How about you? Ivory, sorry to change the avatar thingy... don't worry! I kept the address and dimensions. One thing though, with the new one... are the width and height ok? Everyone has their pics up, so I had to put mine back. ;D Everyone looks good! Okay, everyone, I'll see you hopefully soon. How's Laura?

Hi, Cadeho!!! We miss you!!!! Nice avatar!!!!! Sounds like you had a fabulous time! I'm envious... some time off would be really great right about now. Isn't it a great feeling taking a trip like that? I took my first long trip alone (with Anna, of course!) last year... a 16 hour drive to my sister's in Arkansas. I was so proud. ;D Now I can go anywhere!!!!! Hurry back soon! And bring me some DOUGHNUTS! Peach

The new Doughnut of the Month is key lime pie. It's really good! Any orders? My aunt recently requested the key lime and my mother asked for lemon filled for our neighbor/her co-worker's surprise birthday party. I've requested a fresh batch just for her Ok everyone, take a number... now serving #01! Angel... get back here! It's too hot to stay outside (finally) all your vacation! You know Peach, I was just thinking... we need a peach filled donut! We have apple and to me it tastes like apple pie. I imagine peach would be like peach pie. That would be good. Sukka don't feel left out, I can't remember the last time I touched my phone... oh wait... it was... well I know I had to have used it May 31 to call my NC friends... I'll get to you, don't worry! ABA too.

What was the donut for last month? I saw one in the store and it was WEIRD looking!!! :hairraiser: I took one look at it, got scared, and ran off!!!

Donut be scared... uh... Do NOT be scared! Last "month's" doughnut was the chocolate malt creme doughnut... basically the candy Whopper flavored. The filling was like the malt flavoring of the inside of a Whopper, then the shell was dipped in chocolate and crushed Whoppers were added for topping. I thought it was delicious as the finished product, but the filling by itself... nah... oh and Whoppers to me are always good and so is the chocolate... (I loved scooping cholocate out of the vat... after, I'd get a good taste before I cleaned the scoop). Man I hope I'm not revealing secrets! Eh, nah. But I do have to say I think they need to rename the "Doughnut of the 'Month'" and you know... all of us have remarked we've never seen it or some of the other donuts we make in the stores... must not be a big thing in the Richmond area.
Oh and one more thing... about my trip... Every time I listen to my Stevie Wonder "At the Close of a Century" I will always remember my drive and certain songs will bring back an image of where I was when they were playing. I listened to almost the whole boxset before I finally made it at their place... I was on the 4th CD I know that! I didn't start listening to it until about an hour into my six hour drive. Memories! Memories forever or at least until I become senile! (By the way I'm listening to disc 1 right now which is what made me have to share this!)
We also listened to some of it on the way back (my friends drove back to Va with me as we were headed with their firends in another car to Water Country, USA... where they played a lot of Motown... a little HEAVY on the Supremes). Amari suggested we listen to Stevie and Tiffani said she didn't like Stevie. I put on "Uptight" and Tiff got all into it and I told her who it was. I guess she did like Stevie after all.

It was yummy! Really really sweet with all that chocolate!
Oh Ivory... correct that quote of my typo!
I have started to make a hybrid between "donut" and "doughnut" I should pick one spelling... I prefer donut.

Cadeho, not what I needed to log on and read first thing in the morning! Key Lime Pie doughnuts..... I just about broke down and bought a dozen of KKs last night and I resisted TEMPTATION. It wasn't easy because they smelled so good. I think peach filled donuts would be good.... but temperamental. Peach
