well, i have admired this lady for years, even though alot of folks made fun of her and thought she was snobbish.
she built an empire in to the billion dollar range and had kmart selling her line of stuff exclusively. she is now in serious trouble. in a seperate action, the SEC is fining her $45,000 and trying to ban her from heading any public company.
she faces up to 30 yrs in prison although it won't come to that and up to $2million in fines.
her image is going to suffer more.
so we have corked bats, indicted business leaders- not only martha but another ENRON exec was arrested -
what is the deal with the all this lying cheating and greed?
enron cost californians like me $billions in higher electricity costs 3 yrs ago. martha was making hundreds of millions. sammy sosa is making $15 million a year . is money worth the cost of your soul?
